You heard it here first! The young hottie that is most noted for his work in The Covenant is rumored to be in negotiations about portraying the role of Jacob Black in New Moon. He will play the older version while Taylor Lantner will portray the role of young Jacob Black. We are ectatic about this news and we look forward to drooling over Steven Strait for three movies to come.

The film New Moon is going to introduce a new array of magical characters. One such character is rumored to be a British Punk Rock Wizard from somewhere in Northern Scotland. Although no wizard characters have been introduced before, the goal of this character is to add some flair into the rather dull movie script. However, we don't see any romantic encounters between this new character. It is possible he will show Bella how British boys party after a victorious Soccer game. He will also have some special talents, which include mind reading and seeing the future. He can also fly with the use of a broom and talk with owls, a new skill known as Birdylang.

There have been several theories about Edward's perfect hair but none have captured our attention more than the theory that Edward's perfect hair is the result of his addiction to L'oreal Hair supplies. This theory has been published on many Twilight sites and is now gaining steam among the academic community. A professor of Humburg University called the theory flawless. Basically it works on the same principle as many of the current theories but has a unique twist. Bella did not pick Edward because he was a vampire. Bella choose Edward over Jacob because of his hair. In fact, Jacob grossed her out because he didn't even use shampoo. Realizing this L'oreal look was hard to come by, Bella decided Edward was her man because she couldn't run her fingers through his smooth locks often enough. It also is suspected it is Edward's hair that sparkles in the sun, not his skin. There is no news if this rumor has any merit yet, but the smart money is definitely on it.

Did you know there's a special deleted scene section in the Twilight DVD? Worthy of a newsbite I think. Apparently, exactly 15 minutes into the film if you pause it and press your ‘menu' button 4 times it gives you access to the deleted scenes and a special ‘making of' film where a Twilight character interviews other cast members.
