A

Admin: Short for Administrator. This is the main dude, the big kahuna. Admin is also short for donut addict.

Adult: Not Suitiable for Little People. This is a rating for somebody who can pass Dumbledore's age line.

Alternative: This is a story that is different. Beware characters sometimes have the same name, but different personality traits.

Alternative: Stories that require the use of a timeturner.

Alternate Universe: A piece that defies logic by changing events already set in motion. Sirius is dead, I swear he's really dead.

Angst: A piece that deals with raw emotions, anxiety fear and worry.

Antishippers: Very scary people who will attack all ships that don't match their own view. Beware the antishippers.

Archive (1:) An Internet storage site for fan fictions. Duh!

AU: Stands for Alternative Universe. See Alternative Universe.

Author Notes: A way for authors to beg for reviews.


B

Beta (1): An editor, or somebody who finds all the bumbles we authors make.

Beta Version: Something that should never be published :P

C

Canon: is a big gun of sorts, sometimes used on ships.

Challenge: If you really need a defination of challenge then I really can't help you.

Cliché: An over used plot , or description can be described as Clichéd. Please don't use them, save the validators.

Collaboration: A story produced by several authors joining together. We don't recommend them, we run into a problem of something called, credit?

Crackfic: A really messed up fic.

Criticism: Yeah right! Not for my story

Cross over: The only way you`ll get to the other side. DUH!

D

Dark: What happens when you turn off the lights

Disclaimer: what is used when you disclaim and/or disown your own writing because it stinks

Draft (Rough Draft): A little wind, or a lot if it's rough

Editor: A person that checks for errors, wish I had used one

Epic: It's what Homer did, remember the Illad

Fandom: It's what we're all obsessed with

Fanficcer: That's what you are my dear

FAQ`s: Frequently Asked Questions, that's why we call it FAQ

First Draft: The first time you get hit by a breeze

Flame: It's that little thing burning at the top of the candle

Fluff: That stuff you take out of your belly button

Gary Stu: Mary Sue with stubble.

General: Basic, blah....

Header Info: That thingy at the top of the page

IC: Oh, this is one of those icy like drink you get at gas stations.

Index: The bunch of pages you never read at the end of a book. I think Hermione may actually read them.
